Towards actionable knowledge for change: dialogue with Rojava

This project aims at strengthening science and technology education in Rojava (North and East Syria) and making scientific knowledge accessible for both environmental protection and construction of sustainable infrastructure. At the same time, we strive to accelerate sustainability transformations in Finland by bringing the distinctive, holistic environmental thinking of Rojava into the Nordic debate through dialogue between scientists and environmental organizations of the two locations. A key guiding principle of the project is that its content is defined in Rojava. The project blog will feature contributions from local partners and stakeholders on the ground.
