Towards actionable knowledge for change: dialogue with North and East Syria

This project aims at strengthening science and technology education in North and East Syria (NES) and making scientific knowledge accessible for both environmental protection and the construction of sustainable infrastructure. At the same time, we strive to accelerate sustainability transformations in Finland by bringing the distinctive, holistic environmental thinking of the NES into the Nordic debate through dialogue between scientists and environmental organizations of the two locations. A key guiding principle of the project is that its content is defined in Syria. The project blog will feature contributions from local partners and stakeholders on the ground in NES.
